Baldeschwiler, Ellen G. (4 SEP 1965)
Miss Ellen Baldeschwiler, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Alfred Baldeschwiler, was
given in marriage by her father to William Raymond Zaborowski, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Raymond Zaborowski, all of Thorp (Clark Co., Wis.), during a 10:30 a.m.
nuptial ceremony Saturday, Sept. 4, 1965.
The wedding was held at St. Bernard's Catholic Church in Thorp, with the Rev.
Francis J. Brockman officiating and the mixed choir of St. Bernard's singing.
Gladioli and chrysanthemums decorated the church.
The bride wore a floor length dress of white bridal satin, the bodice having
appliqued flowers of Belgium lace. It had a detachable train having clusters of
lace flowers appliqued down the middle. Seed pearls and tiny beads glimmered on
the lace flowers.
Her fingertip veil fell from a crown covered with lace and tiny beads.
Stephanotis and white glamellias, entwined with ivy, were centered with a white
orchid to comprise the bridal bouquet.
Miss Lila Baldeschwiler of Wausau was the maid of honor and the bridesmaids were
Mrs. Jim Danielewicz, Mount Horeb, and Miss Betsy Zaborowski, Thorp.
They wore floor length dresses of crepe in gold and mortar, styled with
semi-scoop necklines, slim sheaths and empire waists. Each had a pillbox
headpiece of gold and held an arrangement of gold and yellow chrysanthemums and
yellow roses.
Flower girl was Lisa Franklin and ring bearer was Michael Franklin, Oklahoma
City, Okla.
Dave Schauer of Thorp was best man; James Danielewicz, Mount Horeb, and Fred
Restarski, Norwood Park, Ill., were the groomsmen; and Jene Oberle and Dave
Rynic, both of Thorp, were the ushers.
A brunch was served at St. Bernard's Church Hall, with the reception, dinner and
dancing at St. Hedwig's Hall.
The new matron, who has been employed at Michaeleen Hair Styling Salon in Eau
Claire, is a graduate of Thorp High Schoola dn the Accredited School of Beauty
Culture, Eau Claire. Her husband attends Stout State University, Menomonie.
After a honeymoon spent in the Wis. Dells area, the newlyweds will live in Eau
Claire and 611 1/2 Germania St.
