WILLIAM McELLEGET, saloon, Eau Claire, came to Wisconsin in 1864, and was employed in lumbering for some years. Opened saloon in 1869, in partnership with Martin Cahill; dissolved in 1874, and has since been alone. Me was born in Ireland; went to Canada when quite young; came to United States in 1864. He was married in Eau Claire, July 4, 1869, to Hannah Desmond. They have two children, Mary and William.
