F. H. HAVENS, news agent, Eau Claire, was born in St. Catherines, Canada, Dec. 10, l865. His parents, Felix and Jennie (Thompson) Havens came to Wisconsin in 1870, and settled in Eau Claire, where his father practiced his profession, that of physician, until his death, in 1872. Mr. Havens was in the bank of Clark & Ingram three years, and was also in stores at times in town. Commenced present business in 1878.
