EAU CLAIRE -- Christopher J. Lambie, 18, 624 Maple St., Eau Claire, died Monday, December 31, 2001, as a result of a car accident. Christopher was born February 9, 1983, in Washburn.

He was a 2001 graduate of Eau Claire North High School. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and his dog Midge.

He is survived by his mother Barb Tuchel of Eau Claire; his father James Lambie of Black River Falls, one sister Alexandra Tuchel of Eau Claire; two brothers William Lambie of Menomonie and James Lambie of Black River Falls; stepfather Scott Tuchel of Hammond; paternal grandparents Roberta and William Lambie of Chippewa Falls; great paternal grandparents Robert and Rosella Bloom of Tomah; and many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Edwin and Marge Dashner and one uncle Daniel William Lambie.

Memorial Mass will be Friday at noon at St. James The Greater Catholic Church, Eau Claire, with Rev. John Schultz officiating.

Interment will be private.

Friends may call from 5-8 p.m. today at the Golden Funeral Home, 1405 N. Clairemont Ave., Eau Claire, where there will be a 7 p.m. public prayer service.
