PHILLIPS -- Aaron Douglas Hick, 20, Phillips, died at his home on Aug. 30, 2004.

He was born on Dec. 2, 1983, in Eau Claire, the son of Douglas and Jo (Murphy) Hick. Aaron attended and graduated from Phillips High School, Class of 2002. He was currently enrolled in the nursing program at NTC in Phillips. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting, fishing, and skateboarding.

He is survived by his parents, Douglas and Jo Hick, Phillips; one sister, Emily, at home; and his paternal grandmother, Arleen Hick, Chippewa Falls; and cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Raymond Hick, and his material grandparents, Robert and Joan Murphy.

A private family service will be held at a later date.

A Memorial Fund has been established.

The Heindl Funeral Home, Phillips, is in charge of the arrangements.
