Margaret Frances Gaffney, 50, former Stanley resident, passed away last Thursday at the Minneapolis General Hospital, following a short illness.

The deceased was born March 9, 1901, in Stanley. She graduated from Stanley High School, Eau Claire State College, and she then secured her Bachelor of Science Degree at the University of Minnesota. For the past 28 years she has taught at the McKinley School in Minneapolis.
