Dickrell, Theodore J. (18 JUL 1893 - 29 APR 1953)

Theodore J. Dickrell, 59, of Stanley, died last Wednesday night, April 29th, 1953 at 11:40 o’clock at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield after a lingering illness.

Mr. Dickrell was born July 18, 1893, in St. Anna, Calumet co., Wis., the son of John and Agnes Dickrell. He was married to Clara Wollner on June 5, 1917, and they resided at St. Anna for eight years, where he had a cheese factory. He was also undersheriff of Sheboygan County for two years. They moved to Milladore where he operated a cheese factory for 17 years, retiring in 1946, when they moved to Stanley.

Mr. Dickrell is survived by his wife, six sons, Dan of Mason, Wis.; Lloyd and Theodore, Jr., of Junction City, Wis.; Warren of Grandview, Wis.; Robert and David at home; one daughter, Mrs. Gerald (Rosemary) McKenney of Milwaukee; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Mrs. Agnes Dickrell of Milwaukee; one brother and four sisters; John of Milwaukee; Mrs. Ed Schrang and Mrs. Walter Donn, Milwaukee; Mrs. Andrew Mickels, Elk Hart Lake, Wis., and Mrs. Cleo Nelli of Los Angeles, Calif.

He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Marshfield Council, and director of the Junction City Bank.

Funeral services were held Saturday morning at 9:30 o’clock at St. Ann’s Church in Stanley with Rev. Edward Cramer officiating. Interment was in St. Mary’s Cemetery, Stanley.

The rosary was recited at 8:30 o’clock Friday night at the funeral home in Stanley.
