Honstad, Leonard F. Jr. (8 FEB 1926 - 9 JUN 1953)

Leonard F. Honstad, Jr. passed away at his home in Stanley last Tuesday evening following a lingering illness.

He was born Feb. 8, 1926, the only son of Mr. and Mrs. L. F. Honstad, in Stanley, where he grew to manhood. He was a graduate of Stanley High School and also attended River Falls State Teachers College. He was associated with his father in the Honstad Implement Co. until he became ill.

He leaves to mourn, besides his parents, one sister, Mrs. Herman (Jane) Odt of Wayzata, Minn., his maternal grandmother, Mrs. Karen Ness, and one niece.

Funeral services were held at one o’clock on Saturday afternoon from Our Savior’s Lutheran Church in Stanley, the Rev. John M. Mason officiating. Interment was made in Evergreen Cemetery.
