Krogstad, Irene V. (Albrecht) (May 4, 1922 - May 10, 2011)
Irene V. Krogstad, 89, Waupaca, died on Tuesday, May 10 at Crystal River Nursing and Rehab in Waupaca.
Services were held on Saturday, May 14 at Horan Funeral Home in Chippewa Falls. Interment was at Brooklawn Cemetery in Cadott.

WAUPACA — Irene V. Krogstad, 89, a resident of Crystal River Nursing and Rehabilitation in Waupaca, died Tuesday, May 10, 2011 at the home.
She was born May 4, 1922, the daughter of Arthur “Art” and Laura (Petersen) Albrecht.
In August 1944, she married Jack Krogstad, Sr.
Irene is survived by: three children, Tom (Martha) Shimek of Menomonee Falls; their children, Barney, Kallie and Joe, Barbara Morrison of Fond du Lac, and her son, Brian (Carina) Zinda and Jack Krogstad of Hales Corners, and his children Joey and Jon Krogstad; one brother, Lorin (Leona) Albrecht of Medford; one sister, Lorretta Vogt of Colorado; and four great grandchildren, Calvin, Cooper, Quinn and Alice; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by: her husband, Jack; her parents; and one grandson, baby Jackie Krogstad.
Family and friends are going to gather at noon Saturday, May 14 at the Horan Funeral Home, Chippewa Falls, followed by interment in Brooklawn Cemetery, Cadott, town of Sigel.
