Thompson, Peter N. (5 MAY 1894 - 8 MAR 1955) 

Funeral services for Peter N. Thompson, a resident of Stanley, who passed away last Tuesday afternoon after a lingering illness, were held at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, Stanley, with Rev. F. M. Salveson officiating.  Interment was in Evergreen Cemetery. 

Mr. Thompson was born May 5, 1894, in the town of Worden (Clark Co., Wis.), the son of Peter and Christina Thompson.  June 10, 1933, he was married to Miss Hannah Peterson of Stanley.  They farmed near Stanley until three years ago when they moved into the city of Stanley, where he was employed by the Stanley Corp. 

Surviving are his wife, two sons, John at home, and Charles of the U. S. Army, serving in Germany; three brothers, Laurence, Stanley, Clarence and Harvey of Kenosha; three sisters, Mrs. Olga Corwin, Stanley, Mrs. Minnie Fossum and Mrs. Clara Mills, Chippewa Falls.
