Miss Maybel Rasmussen, daughter of Arthur Rasmussen of Ladysmith, became the bride of Earl Tieman, Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Tieman, Sr. of Stanley., in a ceremony performed by Rev. J. N. Midtlien at Our Savior’s Lutheran Parsonage Saturday afternoon, March 15, 1947, at Stanley.
The bride wore a rose colored dress, with full bishop sleeves, round neck and wide belt, with pearl and silver studs. Her jewelry was a necklace of pearls and earrings. Her accessories were of white and black. She was resplendent under a hat of white flowers, and wore a corsage of white carnations and pink roses.
The bridesmaid, Mrs. Jack D. Hunt of Stanley, wore a black dress, with a green hat and black accessories. Her corsage was of pink carnations.
The groom was attended by Mr. Hunt. Both men were dressed in blue and pinstriped suits, with white carnation boutonnieres.
Immediately after the ceremony the bride and groom and their attendants drove to the White House Inn, near Eau Claire, for dinner, and Mr. and Mrs. Tieman remained in Eau Claire for the weekend.
