BOYD - William R. Pilgrim, 78, Boyd, died Monday at Victory Medical Center, Stanley.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at St. Peter’s Lutheran Church, Boyd, with the Rev. Gerald Herman officiating. Burial will be in Edson Union Cemetery, town of Edson.

Visitation will be from 4-9 tonight at Plombon Funeral Home, Stanley.

He was born April 30, 1914, in the town of Edson, to Fred and Bertha (Naas) Pilgrim. He grew up in Edson where he farmed for many years. He married Evelyn Severson Dec. 16, 1965, in Watertown, S.D.

Following their marriage, the couple farmed in the Stanley area for 17 years, retiring and then ....missing content.
