Butterfield, Richard H. (21 February 1966 – 9 April 1988)

Richard H. Butterfield, 22, died Saturday evening, April 9, near Neillsville.

He was born February 21, 1966, in Black River Falls, to Harold and Ella Butterfield. He was a 1984 graduate of Granton High School. He had currently been working on a farm in the Neillsville area.

He is survived by his mother, Ella of Granton; two brothers, Robert of Texas and Roger of Granton; one sister, Sandra Butterfield of Granton; and his grandmother, Vida Butterfield of Merrillan. Was preceded by his father, Harold; and his finance, Gina May.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the United Methodist Church in Merrillan. The Rev. Lois Buchholz will officiate. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery in Merrillan. Visitation was at the Jensen Funeral Home in Hixton from 6-9 p.m. Tuesday and will be Wednesday at the church for one hour before services.
