Dietrich, Marian (14 April 1927 – 10 April 1988)
Sixty-year-old Granton resident Marian Dietrich was found dead Thursday, March
10 after she had been reported missing since March 1.
Miss Dietrich was born in the Town of Grant on April 14,1927 and attended Kurth
School and Neillsville High School. She lived with her parents on a farm where
they tended a large apple orchard. Ten years ago, she and her father moved to
Granton.
Survivors include an uncle, William Hiles, Neillsville, and several cousins. She
was predeceased by her parents.
Rev. Alice Hill conducted services on Saturday, March 12 at the Gilbertson
Funeral Home, Granton. Burial was in the Town of Grant Cemetery. Pallbearers
were Walter Hiles, Eugene Cattanach, Mark Hiles, Ronald Zank, Paul Spaete and Al
Davidson.
