Roth, DeLos A. (14 Sept. 1934 - 7 Nov. 1999)
DeLos A. Roth, 65, former resident of Cornell, died Sunday, Nov. 7, 1999, at his home in Chippewa Falls.
He was born Sept. 14, 1934, in Cornell, the son of Albert and Viola (Thorson) Roth. He was raised in Cornell where he attended school. He moved to Minnesota where he worked in sales, selling furniture, appliances and real estate.
DeLos was an outdoorsman who loved to hunt and fish and especially enjoyed camping. He was a volunteer with the Salvation Army and an active member of Green Thumb, both in Chippewa Falls.
Survivors include his children, Kathryn Ann (Terry) Kyzak of Alabama, Richard Allan Roth and Teresa Roth, both of Minnesota; two sisters, RonaDon (Larry) McDonald of Barron, Marilyn Epp of Brooklyn Park, Minn.; four brothers, LaMont (Marion) Roth of Eagle River, Glenard (Wanda) Roth of Alvin, Larry (Ann) Roth of Park Falls and John (Dianne) of Chippewa Falls; and four grandchildren, Amy, James, Jason and Scott. He was preceded in death by his parents; and one daughter, Susan Louise.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 12 at Holy Cross Catholic Church, Cornell, with Father Jeremiah Cashman officiating. Burial will be in the Cornell Cemetery.
Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the Borton Funeral Home, Cornell.
