Selves, Kim (29 September 1968 – 9 April 1988)

Nineteen -year-old Kim D. Selves, 400 Forest St., died early Saturday, April 9, in an automobile accident in the Town of Levis.

Kim was born on September 29, 1968, in Neillsville, to William N. and Karan R. (Hagen) Selves. After attending St. John’s Lutheran School, she graduated from Neillsville High School in 1986. She had been employed by Memorial Hospital and was presently working at Hardee’s. For the past year she resided with her grandparents in Neillsville. She was a member of St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church and Neillsville American Legion Auxiliary.

Surviving besides her parents and a brother Scott, of Neillsville; are her grandparents, Robert and Ruth Smukal and Herman Hagen, all of Neillsville. She was preceded in death by her maternal grandmother, Helen.

Services were conducted by Rev. Richard F. Weber on Monday, April 11, at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church. Marilyn Maciejczak and Sharon Nemitz provided music. Burial was in Neillsville City Cemetery. The pallbearers were Mike Kuester; Tom Selves; Timothy, Doug, Chris and Kevin Hagen. The Gesche Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
