Trewartha, Marjorie (30 January 1902 – 21 March 1988)

Memorial Home resident Marjorie Trewartha, 86, died Monday, March 21. Rev. Loren Hickerson conducted services at United Church of Christ, Neillsville, on Saturday, March 26. Following cremation, the ashes will be interred at Windfall Cemetery, Granton. Gilbertson Funeral Home, Granton, was in charge of arrangements.

He former Marjorie Pietenpol was born at Granton on January 30, 1902, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. John Pietenpol. She was educated at Granton, Neillsville High School and Stevens Point Normal School. On August 18, 1926, she married Harold Trewartha at Granton. For a time, they lived in Palmer, MI, and moved to Neillsville in 1930. She was a teacher at various schools in the area. Her husband passed away August 28, 1984. She was a member of the United Church of Christ.

Surviving are three children, Lowell of Janesville, Donald of Alpena, MI, and Helen Prochnow, Waupaca; a sister, Mrs. Josephine Johnson of Ironwood, MI; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She is preceded by two brothers and a sister.
