Turner, Victor (11 April 1910 – 24 March 1988)
Victor Turner, 77, Wis. Rapids, died Thursday, March 24 at Edgewater Haven
Nursing Home in Port Edwards, following a brief illness.
Services were held Monday at Immanuel Lutheran Church. The Rev. Robert Buckman
officiated. Burial was in the Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery.
He was born April 11, 1910, in the Town of York, Clark County to Abie and Hattie
Turner. He married Ruth Schlinsog January 24, 1932, at Granton. She survives. He
was employed at Preway Inc., a foreman in the maintenance department from
1943-1975.
Besides his wife, he is survived by three sons, Roger of Stevens Point, Garie of
Madison and James of Crown point, Ind.; three brothers, George and Orville, both
of Neillsville, and Wilbur of Kirkland, IL; two sisters, Mabel Schoenfeld and
Harriet Triska, both of Neillsville, and four grandchildren. He was preceded by
four brothers and a sister.
