Liskow, Otto J. (16 October 1900-4 June 1983)
NEILLSVILLE- Otto J. Liskow, 83, Bradenton, Florida, formerly of Neillsville,
died Saturday in St. Luke's Hospital, Milwaukee. He was en route to Neillsville
to make his home when he was hospitalized in Milwaukee.
Memorial services will be Friday at the Gesche Funeral Home, Neillsville. The
Rev. Gary L. Clark, pastor of United Church of Christ will officiate. There will
be no visitation. The body will be cremated and the ashes returned for burial in
the Neillsville Cemetery.
He was born October 16, 1900 in the Town of Levis, Clark County. He received his
education there and at St. John's Lutheran School, Neillsville. He farmed in the
Town of Levis for many years and then moved to Milwaukee, where he was a
merchant seaman for the railroad. He returned to Neillsville and operated a fur
farm and mink ranch until retiring. He resided in Florida the past several years
and was in ill health.
He married Myrl Braun in 1927 in Neillsville; she died in 1951. In 1958, he
married Trena Quenell; she died in 1979.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Rene (Joan) Harder of Neillsville, and four
grandchildren. He was also predeceased by two sisters, Hattie and Emma, and a
brother, Eddie.
