BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF JOHN HALVORSON
JOHN HALVORSON, shoemaker, Chippewa Falls, came to Wisconsin in 1869; located at Black River Falls, and was employed there two years at his trade, and then lived for two years at Neillsville; came to Chippewa Falls in 1873, and commenced business in that year. He was born in Norway in December, 1847; came to America in 1869. He was married at Chippewa Falls, Dec. 10, 1873, to Mary Halyerson, who was born in Norway. They have three children: Halvo, Hector and Aaron.
