BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF JAMES McKINNON
JAMES McKINNON, log contractor, Chippewa Falls, came to Wisconsin in 1863; located at this place; was employed in the woods, and in various capacities, up to 1871, and since then has been engaged in logging on his own account. He was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, in 1843, and farmed with his father there for some years; came to the United States in 1868. He was married at Chippewa Falls, Sept. 24, 1875, to Jennie Redman, a native of Nova Scotia, Canada. They have one child, Hattie J., aged five months.
