BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF CHARLES MANDELERT
CHARLES MANDELERT, secretary and treasurer of the French Lumbering Co.. Chippewa Falls, was born in France, Dec. 6, 1826; came to America in 1852. In 1856 he came to the town of Lafayette, Chippewa Co. He has been engaged in lumbering and farming since he came here, and has been connected with the French Lumbering Co. ever since its organization. He was married at Prairie du Chien in February, 1873, to Louise Tebouret, also a native of France. They have four children—Louis, Alice, Rosalie and Louise.
