BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF E. G. PANNIER
E. G. PANNIER, carriage and wagon manufactory, Chippewa Falls, was born in Milwaukee, July 19, 1848. Finished apprenticeship at carriage making at eighteen years of age, and was then employed at trade for seven years. Came to Chippewa Falls in 1869, and commenced present business, in partnership with Fred Hoenig, in 1871. Firm dissolved in 1876. Was then in company with Gus Greenwald for one year, since which time he has been alone. Was Alderman of Second Ward for 1876; re-elected in 1878 and in 1881. Married in Milwaukee, Sept. 28, 1869, to Annie Greenwald, who was born near Milwaukee. Have five children—Ida B., John, Emma, Elsie and Carrie.
