BIOGRAPHICAL SKETCH OF
WARREN W. POTTER, grain business and logging, Chippewa Falls. Born in Milwaukee County, May, 1841. Left there at fourteen years of age, and went to Marquette with parents, where he resided six years; then went to Dane County, remaining until 1864. Went to Minnesota in 1867, remaining there ten years, in Faribault County. Was farming on own account, and one of the first settlers there. Came to Chippewa Falls in 1877, and has been engaged in dealing in grain for four years, and also logging. Married in Dane County, March, l869, to Mary Home, who was born in Albany, N. Y. A son of John Potter, one of the earliest settlers in Milwaukee County, Wis.
