Kressin, Maynard J. (9 Dec. 1912 - 24 Nov. 2000)

Maynard J. Kressin, 87, of Bloomer passed away Friday, November 24, 2000 at Hetzel Care Center, Bloomer.

He was born in Bloomer, Wisconsin to Harvey and Meta (Koepp) Kressin. He married Ida Korger June 26, 1940 in Bloomer. He farmed in the Woodmohr area all of his life. He was a member of Good Shepherd Lutheran Church and served as an officer on the rural school board.

He is survived by his wife, Ida Kressin of Bloomer; son, Jack (Sandy) Kressin; brothers, Delmar (Vollie) Kressin of Colfax and Eugene (Tillie) Kressin of Chippewa Falls; sister, Margaret (Junior) Bateman of Chippewa Falls; grandchildren, Jean Frion, Jackie (Tom) Young and Jennifer Rohl; granddaughter-in-law, Wendy Kressin; 8 grandchildren; he is also survived by nieces and nephews.

He is preceded in death by his parents; one grandson, John Kressin.

Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, November 28, 2000 at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, Bloomer with pastor Robert Otto officiating. Burial will be at Bloomer City Cemetery, Bloomer.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday, November 27, 2000 at the Schriver Funeral Chapel and one hour before the service at the church Tuesday.
