Starks, Sarah Jane (15 JUN 1877 - 9 SEP 1947)

Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah J. Starks, 70, were held at the Plombon Funeral Home in Stanley Friday afternoon. Rev. R. O. Reimers conducted the service. Burial was in Oakland Cemetery. Mrs. Starks died at the home of a daughter in Vesper, Wis. on Tuesday.

She was born Sarah Jane Hayton on June 15, 1877, in Canada and married Dr. Ernest Starks, Nov. 19, 1901. Survivors are: two sons, Everett and Emery, both of Stanley; five daughters, Mrs. Kenneth Bushlen and Mrs. Frank Shortell, both of Vesper, Mrs. High Glendenning, Arpin, Mrs. C. Taylor of Wilson, Mrs. Lester Deboer, Marshfield; 16 grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Clarence Peterson, Stanley; and three brothers, Charles Hayton, Los Angeles, Roy, Neoga, Ill., and Harry of Jim Falls.
