Heinz, Frank (22 May 1901 – 31 January 1988)
Neillsville Memorial Home resident Frank Heinz, 86, died Sunday morning, January
31. Visitation will be Wednesday morning, February 3, until 10 a.m., at Gesche
Funeral Home. Fr. Joseph Henseler will officiate during services held at 10:30
a.m. on Wednesday. St. Mary’s Choir, accompanied by Virginia Gassen, will
provide music. Relatives will serve as pallbearers. Interment will be in the
parish cemetery.
Mr. Heinz was born in Jefferson, on May 22, 1901, to David and Catherine (Hokamp)
Heinz. After his education, he worked for Ford Motor Company in Detroit, MI.
After his marriage to Elizabeth C. Hartung, in Neillsville, on June 17, 1935,
the couple lived in Milwaukee where he was employed by Schlitz Brewery until
retirement. His wife passed away on November 8, 1980. And he remained in
Milwaukee until 1981 when he moved to Memorial Home.
Survivors include a sister and three brothers, Mrs. Kurt (Leona) Janisch of
Morton Grove, IL, Lawrence Heinz of Milwaukee, Otto Hainz of St. Petersburg, FL,
and Edward Hainz of Neillsville. Besides his wife and parents, he was preceded
by two brothers, Leo and Roy, and two sisters, Sarah and Laura.
