Annette Lynn Pehlgrim and Gorden Lee Hansen, both of Neillsville, were united in
marriage on the late Saturday afternoon of August 16 in St. John’s Evangelical
Lutheran Church, Neillsville, with the Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiating.
Parents of the couple are Mrs. Helen Pehlgrim and the late Fred Pehlgrim,
Griffith, Indiana, and William and Lilly Hansen, of Neillsville. Ronald
Pehlgrim, a brother of the bride from Texas, presented his sister to the altar.
Shelly Pehlgrim, a sister of the bride from Griffith, was maid of honor. She was
joined by Marlene Wise, a niece of the bride from Gary, Indiana. Kelly Hansen, a
brother of the groom from Neillsville, was bestman. He was joined by Harry
Johnson, a friend of the groom from Greenwood. Kenneth Pehlgrim, a brother of
the bride from Griffith, and Dennis Hansen, an uncle of the groom of Spencer,
served as ushers.
“The Lord’s Prayer” was the musical offering during the service by Mr. and Mrs.
Paul Tess.
The bride chose to wear her sister’s wedding dress. She carried a bouquet of
mums, yellow roses and lilies of the valley. Her attendants wore light green
gowns and caried mums. The groom and his attendants were attired in dark green
tuxedos.
Attending the service and reception held at the Granton Sportsmen’s Club were
relatives and friends from the local area as well as from Texas, Indiana and
Minnesota.
The bride is a graduate of Lake Central High School of St. John’s, Indiana, and
is employed by auto-test of Neillsville. The groom is a graduate of Greenwood
High School, and is employed by Weyerhauser Corporation, Marshfield. They will
make their home on East Sixth St., Neillsville.
