On Monday, April 4, 1977 a group of young people from the Withee Gospel
Tabernacle Church took a bus to Wisconsin Rapids to view a film called The
Cross and the Switchblade. Groups from Greenwood and Loyal also went with them
on a bus rented from Spencer, totaling about 45 who attended the film showing.
According to Pastor Dan Venzke from the Gospel Tabernacle, several of the young
people in attendance made decisions for Christ.
