Miss Hasleton is a student at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah, and a 1974 graduate of Owen-Withee High School.

Her fiancé is a graduate of Star Valley High School, and is a junior at Brigham Young University.

An April 29, 1977 wedding is being planned at Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.

On Friday, April 29, 1977, Carol LaJune Hasleton, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Hubert Hasleton, Owen, and Lynn LaVere Olsen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Melvin Olson of Osmond, Star Valley, Wyoming, were united in marriage in a ceremony in the Salt Lake Temple, Salt Lake City, Utah.

The bride is a graduate of Owen-Withee High School and is a student at Brigham Young University, Provo, Utah. The groom is a graduate of Afton, Wyoming, and is also a student at Brigham young, University.

The bride w rea princess style gown with an empire waistline, high neckline and puffed sleeves, button trim down the front and sleeves made of white symphony fabric, with a waist length veil. She carried assorted colored flowers with three red orange roses.

Bridesmaids were her sister, Susan Hasleton Cropo of Cambridge, Massachusetts and Teressa Olsen of Provo, Utah. The bridesmaids’ gowns were yellow with empire waistline and short puffed sleeves.

The groom wore a light blue suit.

On April 30, 1977, Saturday, and open house was held in the Olsen home in Osmond, Wyoming, with 200 guests in attendance, including, Richard Hasleton of Newhall, California, Mrs. Gayle Moore, Orange, California, Mrs. Beverly Mortenson, Claremont, California, Mr. and Mrs. James Hasleton, Provo, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Larry Olsen, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Larron Olsen, Brigham City, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Donald Olsen, Salt Lake City, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Mel Olsen, Oren, Utah, Mr. and Mrs. Dennis Ord, Provo, Utah, Miss Terresa Olsen, Provo, Utah, and the bride’s parents, Mr. and Mrs. Hubert C. Hasleton of Owen, Wisconsin.

A brunch reception is scheduled to be held for the bride and groom and families on Saturday, May 21, 1977, in the Jerry Herring residence in Colby, Wisconsin. The time for this reception will be 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The couple has plans to work this summer in Minnesota, and then return to school in the fall.
