Larson, Odette “Dottie” (18 April 1919 – 26 April 1988)
Odette (Dottie) Larson, 69, a former Greenwood resident, died Tuesday, April 26,
at Neillsville Memorial Hospital. Born April 18, 1919, in Thorp, to Achille and
Jeanne Ampe, she attended the Loyal schools. She was married to Lee Larson and
later divorced. She worked at the Adult Development Center, in Willard, and was
a custodian at the Neillsville High School. She was also a driver for the
elderly, retiring in 1984. She was a member of Grace United Methodist Church,
Greenwood.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jada Parker of Owen, Mrs. Judith Pipkorn of
Levittown, PA, a son, James Pipkorn of Tucson, AZ; five sisters, Mrs. Lucille
Hohl of Greenwood, Mrs. Ruth Gotter of Marshfield, Mrs. Ray (Alice) Reinertson
of Boone, IA, Mrs. Arlan (Helen) Ewert of Spencer, and Mrs. Russell (Pauline)
Haupt of Granton; and four grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents;
one brother, Paul; and a sister, Martha.
Services were held Friday, April 29, at Rinka Funeral Home in Greenwood. The
Revs. Raymond Torgerson of Owen and Kevin Field of the Grace United Church of
Greenwood officiated.
