Mrs. Shirley Kelly was recently informed that her son Patrick W. Kelley,
presently serving with the U.S. Army in Germany, participated in graduation
exercises of the American Preparatory Institute on Monday, April 4, 1977.
PFC Kelley earned the distinction of Honor Graduate, with the most total credits
earned in the institute. Because of the honor of being the Honor Graduate, PFC
Kelley presented a valedictory address with the topic being title “High School
Then and Now.”
PFC Kelley is the son of Mrs. Shirley Kelley, Owen, and attended the Owen Withee
School system until enlisting in the Army. He has been attended the preparatory
institute to earn his high school diploma. He has four brothers and one sister,
all living at home in Owen.
