Rev. Loren Swanson, pastor of the 1st Congregational United Church of Christ of
Owen, completed Phase III of U.S. Army Command and General Staff College Sunday
by successful passing a test at Oshkosh.
Rev. Swanson is a Chaplain in the U.S. Army Reserves. The unit he serves as
Religious Relations Officer is the 432nd Civil Affairs Co. of Green Bay,
Wisconsin. He is a major with 15 years in the Reserves. In June of 1976 he
graduated from a yearlong residence study program at the U.S. Army Chaplain
School at Ft. Wadsworth, New York, which is in New York City.
