Sischo, Janis Kay (21 May 1983)

Miss Janis Kay Sischo, daughter of Mrs. Alice Sischo and the late DeVere Sischo, became the bride of Chris Leslie Smith, Route 1, Greenwood, son of Mr. and Mrs. Vernon Smith, Loyal, May 21.

The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Maynard Stokka in Zion Lutheran Church, Neillsville, at which the bride was given in marriage by her brother, Terry Sischo, Route 4, Neillsville. Providing music were Donnie Meyer, Sue Druschke and Sandy and Julie Maass.

Mrs. Vicki Sischo-Steffen of Greenwood was matron of honor. Bridesmaids were Judy Sischo, Lori Meihack and Loriann Langreck, all of Neillsville. Galen Koxien of Galesville was best man. Groomsmen were Kenneth Smith, Greenwood, and Rodney Gardner and Daniel Smrecek, both of Loyal, and ushering were Dennis Sischo, Neillsville, and James Smith, Greenwood.

The dinner/reception was at the Legion Hall, Neillsville, and the dance at Silver Dome. Following a wedding trip through northern Wisconsin, Upper Michigan at Mackinac Island, the Smiths will live on Route 1, Greenwood.

The bride attended Neillsville High School and District 1 Technical Institute-Eau Claire. She is a licensed practical nurse at Memorial Hospital, Neillsville. Her husband, who attended Greenwood High Scholl, is an employee of Smith's Feed Store.
