Approximately fifty relatives met at the Martin Keskimaki home on Sunday at a
picnic to honor Kurt Keskimaki and his new bride, the former Mary Ellen Libby.
They were married at day break, 5:30 a.m., on April 23, 1977 at the summit of
Guanella Pass, with the Rev. Robert Ellis conducting the double ring ceremony.
Mary Ellen has completed her freshman year at the Colorado School of Mines in
Golden, Colorado, on a four year full scholarship. Kurt graduated from O-W High
in 1970 and from the University of Wisconsin Platteville in Mining Engineering
in 1974. He is employed as a Mining Engineer by the Henderson Mine, Climax
Molybdenum Corporation, Golden, Colorado, which will be their future home.
Guests came from Oshkosh, Medford River Falls, Eau Claire, Hartland, Hartford,
Pewaukee, Minocqua, Ogdensburg, Manawa, and Owen, Withee and Marshfield.
