Klauck, Rita M. (Marriage - 13 JAN 1951)
St. Ann’s Catholic Church in Stanley was the setting Saturday, Jan. 13, 1951 for the marriage of Miss Rita Marie Klauck, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George Klauck of Stanley, and Earl Severson, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Severson of Boyceville. Rev. Edwin L. Knauf read the double ring ceremony.
White nylon net and lace over satin formed the bride’s gown, styled with a scalloped yoke of net, buttoning in the back to the waist. The full skirt of the dress was ballerina length. Her fingertip veil of nylon was net was held with a Juliet cap, set with seed pearls. She carried a colonial bouquet of rapture roses, white chrysanthemums and stephanotis.
Attending the bride was her sister, Ruth Ann of Superior. Donald Gregerson, Eau Claire, attended his brother-in-law as best man. The bride’s cousins, Clement Van Zutphen and Evan Wedman, ushered. Diane Wedman and Margaret Ann Van Zutphen, cousins of the bride, were flower girls.
