On Saturday, May 14, 1977, Gail Peissig, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Dale Peissig
of Owen, and George Muehlbauer Jr., son of Mr. and Mrs. George Muehlbauer Sr. of
Owen were united in marriage at 5:00 p.m. at the First Congregational Church of
Owen.
Standing with the bride was Marsha Meyer of Dorchester as matron of Honor. Diane
Johnson of Curtiss, Heidi Copland of Owen and Cheryl Reynolds of Dorchester were
bridesmaids.
Standing as best man for the groom was Hank Macs of Withee. The groomsmen were
Tim Stock of Withee, Dan Pawlukiewicz of Withee and Tim Reinke of Owen.
Ushers were Dennis Peissig and David Peissig, brothers of the bride. For the
church ceremony music of the Beatles was played by Tammy Wagner of Owen.
Immediately following the wedding was a reception, dinner and dance at the Owen
Inn. The music for dancing was played by the Up Towners. Many of the groom’s
relatives from Milwaukee and the bride’s relatives from Sister Bay honored the
newlyweds by attending the services.
