An “Honor and Awards” banquet was held on Friday, May 20, 1977 for students of
the University of Wisconsin Center at Medford. Three are students from northern
Clark County who received recognition during the program.
Linda Baures of Thorp received a letter in volleyball and basketball award. Stan
Jorgensen, Withee, received a basketball award. Richard Sorenson of Owen
received a tennis letter, special commendation for tennis excellence was noted,
since UWC-Medford tennis team earned a 9–0 record for the season.
