Distinguished Service Award (Janssen - 2022)
The Clark County Health Department and Board of Health presented Dr. Gary Janssen with the Public Health Distinguished Service Award during the Jan. 25 Board of Health meeting. For the past 30 years, Janssen has been an active Board of Health member as well as the health department’s medical advisor. “Dr. Janssen is truly an asset to Clark County, both as a physician and a public health leader. We are grateful for his devotion to the health department,” stated Brittany Mews, county health officer/director. Janssen graduated from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public health. He has been practicing family medicine for over 49 years, with several of those years employed at the Marshfield Clinic Greenwood Center. Submitted Photo
