Gipp, Keith D. (21 March 1954 – 30 January 2022) With Flag
Keith D. Gipp, age 67, of Curtiss passed away on January 30, 2022, at Aspirus
Medford Hospital
Keith was born on March 21, 1954, the son of David and Esther (Tohm) Gipp in
Medford. He graduated from Colby High School in 1972. In June of 1972, Keith
married Faye Blume and they later divorced. He served in the U. S. Army during
the Viet Nam War, stationed in Germany from 1973-76. Keith was a truck driver
for most of his working years.
Keith was a proud member of the Curtiss Lions and caretaker of St. Paul’s
Lutheran Church in Curtiss. He lived modestly and enjoyed being with his
friends. Keith especially loved being with his grandchildren and son, Chris for
their weekend breakfasts.
Keith is survived by his two children: Brenda (Jason) Stiller of Shakopee, MN
and Christopher Gipp of Stetsonville; five grandchildren: Zolea Stiller,
Dominic, Evan, Isaac and Izabella Gipp; special family friend, April Yeager of
Medford. He is further survived by his brother, Cliff (Sue) Gipp of Northfield,
MN and their son David; a sister-in-law, Sue Gipp of Tripoli and her son, Corey
(Jennifer) Gipp and their children, Olivia and Hunter. He was preceded in death
by his parents; a brother, Don and a sister, Elaine.
A Graveside service will be held at Dorchester Memorial Cemetery with Military
Honors in the spring.
