Schulze, Elroy J. (6 May 1904 – 29 May 1977)
Elroy John Schulze, 73, former Town of Hoard resident, died May 29, 1977 in
Northwestern Hospital, Minneapolis.
Mr. Schulze was born May 6, 1904. He was united in marriage to Freada Hoffman in
Curtiss, Wisconsin.
Mr. Schulze had been employed in construction work until his retirement eight
years ago.
He had had been a member of the Carpenters’ Local No. 1608.
Survivors include his wife, Freada; three sons, Clifford of St. Croix Beach,
Reuben of Gilbert and Roy of Cook; two daughters, Mrs. Howard (Viola) Anderson
of Withee, Wisconsin, and Mrs. Urho) Janet Boutto of Gheen; 15 grandchildren; 11
great-grandchildren; one brother, Edwin of Kenosha, Wisconsin; one sister, Mrs.
George (Norma) Funk of Withee, Wisconsin, and numerous nephews and nieces.
Funeral services were held June 2 at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Linden Grove Hall.
Rev. Kenneth R. Tamte officiated. Burial was in the family plot of the Willow
Valley Cemetery.
Selected to serve as pallbearers at the funeral rites were the following
grandsons: John Boutto of Gheen; James Boutto and Curtis Schulze, both of Cook;
Dale Anderson of Marshfield, Wisconsin; Richard Malnar and Douglas Johnson, both
of Gilbert.
Range Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
