Wachholz, Sandra Ellen (? September- 1980)

The Rev. John E. Martin officiated at the recent wedding of Sandra Ellen Wachholz and John Edgar Schwan in Kenosha’s Bethany Lutheran Church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Armond Wachholz, Neillsville. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Edgar Schwan, Kenosha.

The bridal attendants were Mrs. James Marescalco, a sister of the bride from Kenosha, as matron of honor; Mrs. Paul Dettinger, Burlington; Mrs. Donald Pluess, East Troy; and Mrs. Karen Snell and mrs. Richard Petrick, both of Kenosha.

Richard Petrick, Kenosha, was bestman. He was joined by Robert Streblow, James Burch, James Marescalco and Dr. William Jeranek, all of Kenosha. Ushering were James Marescalco and Joseph Snell.

Following the ceremonies, a dinner and dance was held at the Bristol Oaks Country Club in Kenosha. The couple then left on a wedding trip to St. Martens in the Caribbean.

The bride is a 1972 graduate of East Troy High School and a 1974 graduate of Gateway Technical Institute in Kenosha. She is employed as a legal secretary. The groom is a 1966 graduate of Tremper High School in Kenosha, Gateway Tech and UW-Parkside in Kenosha. He is an office manager for the Benson Oil of Kenosha. The couple will make their home in Kenosha.
