Morgan, Leon J. (? - 28 September 1980)
The body of Leon J. Morgan, 56, Thorp, was found in his Town of Butler home
about mid-afternoon, Sunday, September 28, the victim of a self-inflicted
gunshot wound to the head. A relative found the body.
Authorities said the body was found in the bedroom of his log cabin where he
lived alone. A shotgun was found next to the body. It was learned that he had
been despondent recently.
The Thorp Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
