Miss Patricia Mary Creighton, Madison, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William A. Creighton, Blue Island, Ill., became the bride of Joseph Anthony Gaffney, son of Mr. and Mrs. Arthur Gaffney of Stanley, in an 11 a.m. nuptial high mass performed at the St. Benedict Church in Blue Island Saturday, May 26, 1951.
After a two week wedding trip in Canada, the couple will return to Madison. The bride is a graduate of St. Mary’s School of Nursing in Madison and is employed at Wis. General Hospital. Mr. Gaffney attended Loras College in Dubuque and the University of Wisconsin.
