Pischer, Carolyn Mae "Carrie" (18 June 1983)
St. John's Evangelical Lutheran Church, Neillsville, was the setting June 18
when Carolyn Mae "Carrie" Pischer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harvey Pischer of
Neillsville, was given in marriage by her father to Daniel James Christie, Sun
Prairie, son of Mr. and Mrs. James Christie of La Crosse.
The Rev. Norman W. Lindloff officiated at the ceremony. Paul Tess was organist;
Beth Tess, soloist.
The bride wore and organza and Chantilly lace gown with chapel train and her
flowers were a cascade of blue and white roses with deep blue forget-me-nots.
Mrs. Kathleen Hyslop of Pewaukee was matron of honor. Bridedmaids were Miss
Dianne Lautenbach, Wausau, and Mrs. Denyse Schumacher, Milwaukee. They had blue
blouson gowns with schiffli lace and nosegays of blue and white roses.
Jennifer Nyslop, Pewaukee, was flower girl and Jason Pischer, Novato,
California, junior attendant.
Michael Christie, Eau Claire, was best man. Groomsmen were Steven Hilleshiem,
Wausau, and Peter Schumacher, Milwaukee, and ushering were Gregory Hortsman and
Jeffrey Garbers, both of La Crosse.
The dinner, reception and dance were at Fannie's Supper Club, Neillsville. The
newlyweds are living in Sun Prairie.
The bride graduated in 1978 from Neillsville High School and in 1982 from the
University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. She is an education instructor in Poynette
Public Schools. Her husband, a 1978 graduate of Onalaska Luther High School and
a 1979 graduate of District 1 Technical Institute-Eau Claire, is a lineman for
the Water and Light commission, Sun Prairie.
