GREENWOOD - New officers were installed June 20 at the Greenwood American Legion
Auxiliary meeting. Installed were Edith Backus, president; Florence Klinke,
first vice president; Evelyn Syth, second vice president; Elaine Herdrich,
treasurer,; Louise Keiner, historian; Vera Meinhardt, secretary; Ida Carl,
Chaplain; and Dorothy Gerhard, sergeant at arms.
Also at the meeting, Pam Lindner, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Lavern Lindner,
Loyal, described her experience at Badger Girls State at the University of
Wisconsin-Madison, from June 5-11. The Auxiliary sponsored her trip.
