Alois A. “Bub” Marick, 76, Route 6, Chippewa Falls, Town of Lafayette, died Saturday morning, Jan. 26 at his home.

He was born Jan. 8, 1909 in Eau Claire, the son of Anna Marie (Shermock) and Frank J. Marick.

Bub served in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was united in marriage to Evelyn Panzer.

Bub worked at Uniroyal for 40 years retiring in 1971.

Surviving are his wife; one sister, Sr. Mildred, O.S.F. of Eau Claire; one brother, Alex Marick of Memphis, Mich.; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private. Internment will be in Bateman Cemetery, Town of Lafayette.

There will be no visitation.
