Loberg, Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth (40th – 9 October 1980)

Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Loberg celebrated their 40th wedding anniversary, Saturday, October 18, at the American Legion Hall in Greenwood. The event was sponsored by their children and families; Mr. and Mrs. Orville Loberg and Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Schreiner, the latter residing in Marshfield.

The couple were married on October 9, 1940, in Waupun, Iowa. They have a son, Orville, who resides with his family on the home farm and a daughter, Sharon who with her family resides in Marshfield and is a registered nurse at St. Joseph’s Hospital. And four grandchildren.

Friends, neighbors and relatives attended from Christie, Greenwood, Owen, Loyal, Spencer, Marshfield, Milwaukee, Waldo, Grafton, Madison, Cross Plain, Mazomanie, Black Earth, Menomonie, Ladysmith, Ogema, Wisconsin Rapids and Neillsville.

A bounteous dinner was served after which many beautiful gifts were opened.
