Francis Steiner, vocational agriculture teacher at Granton High School, has been
named the winner of the National Vocational Agriculture Teacher's Association's
outstanding teacher for 1983.
Steiner will receive a certificate of recognition and his application for the
state award will be considered for the regional award. He will compete against
the state winners of Iowa, Minnesota, Nebraska and South Dakota for that award.
The winner will be announced July 1,
The award is sponsored by Sperry-New Holland to recognize instructors conducting
high quality vocational agriculture education programs.
