Airman Alan D. Hesse, son of William D. and James Hesse, Loyal, has graduated from the U.S. Air Force radio operator maintenance and driver course at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi.

He studied basic electronics and learned to maintain and operate communications equipment and tactical air command and control systems. He also earned credits toward an associate degree in applied science through the Community College of the Air Force.

Hesse will serve with the 2130th Communications Squadron at RAF Croughton, England.

His wife, Shelly, is the daughter of Ronald E. McKibbin, Route 1, Loyal, and Dian G. Hamby, Arlington, Virginia.

He is a 1982 graduate of Loyal High School.
